UPDATE 11TH MARCH 2020 MEDEMBLIK EUROPEAN OPEN DUO-GAMES

Following on earlier communication on COVID-19, we are still following the advice of the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) about the Medemblik European Open Duo-Games of 4th April 2020. The RIVM is leading in all advises and legislation’s about Public Health. The said there are no changes in the policy regarding events in the area of Medemblik. We follow the advice of the RIVM and we will take all necessary steps obligated by the Dutch Government to protect everybody that will attend the Medemblik European Open Duo-Games on 4th April 2020.

We ask everyone who will attend the Medemblik European open Duo-Games 202020 to take all necessary precautions regarding to hygiene and safety.

It is always important to follow up these basic hygiene measures:

  • Wash your hands with soap regularly
  • Cough and sneeze on the inside of your elbow
  • Use paper handkerchiefs

Please ask yourself these questions before coming to the Medemblik European Open Duo-Games 2020.

If you have a fever (38C or more) and respiratory symptoms (coughing or shortness of breath) and you have been in one of the following countries or regions in the past 14 days please contact your General Practitioner by phone:

  • China (including Hong Kong and Macao)
  • Japan
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Iran
  • Italy

If you have been in one of these areas and have symptoms of the common cold or a slightly elevated temperature, stay home and make sure you have as little contact with others as possible. It could be the first symptoms of COVID-19, but it might also be a common cold virus. It is not necessary to call your General Practitioner at this stage. If your symptoms worsen: a fever (38c) and respiratory complaints (coughing and shortness of breath), you should call your General Practitioner.

In any of these cases you are not allowed to attend at the Medemblik European Open Duo-Games 2020.

For everyone who will be at the Medemblik European Open Duo-Games 2020 follow these guidelines and we would like to ask you to do the following:

  • No handshakes, we make a respectful bow!
  • Bring your own hand disinfectant with you to keep your hands as clean as possible.
